12 Month Limited Warranty
Bi-state Motors & Sports warrants that each vehicle operated by the original purchaser under normal use and conditions in the
Continental United States, purchased from our retail store or website, will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a
period of one year, subject to the requirements, exclusions and limitations stated below which will be strictly applied. If the
vehicle is rented or used for commercial purposes, this Limited Warranty is null and void.
Subject to the requirements, exclusions and limitations stated below, the engine is warranted to the original retail purchaser
against defects in materials and workmanship by the vehicle manufacturer, arising from normal use for one (1) year from the
date of delivery. ATV Discounter will act as an agent of retail customers to facilitate the submission and processing of any
engine warranty claim on their behalf to the manufacturer. Dealers or any other purchaser of vehicles for resale or not for
personal use must deal directly with the manufacturer.
NORMAL USE
This Limited Warranty covers only defects in original components which arise from normal use and does not apply if the vehicle
has been subjected to negligence, crash, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, overload, extreme riding, racing, stunt work,
competitive racing, vandalism, fire or theft.
MAINTENENCE AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT
The manufacturer requires that for any engine to be eligible for replacement evaluation and approval, the purchaser must
present with their claim, third party documented proof that the engine was maintained as specified below for the vehicle.
The oil that the vehicle is shipped with must be replaced after the break-in period, 300 km (~185 miles).
The following maintenance must be performed every 1000 km (~600 miles) or 3 months (after the break-in period), whichever is
first: Oil, oil filter (where applicable), air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, and radiator coolant (where applicable).
Acceptable forms of documentation are copies of dated service tickets from a professional service center or copies of dated
retail receipts for the wear parts and materials required to perform the service.
WEAR PARTS EXCLUDED
Normal wear items, including but not limited to, hoses, lubricants, gaskets, brake handles, brake shoes, brake pads, seats, seat
covers, light bulbs, fuses, spark plugs, tires, rims, drive belts, additional belts, batteries (manufacturer only provides starter
batteries), starters, air filters, fuel filters, plastics, moldings, fairings, body parts, engine covers, body panels, gaskets, CV boots,
clutch wear parts, any part made from rubber, battery chargers, shocks, clips, nuts, bolts, fasteners, or chains will not be
replaced due to wear.
LIMITATIONS
The sole responsibility of Bi-state Motors & Sports under this limited warranty shall be to facilitate the submission of claims to
the appropriate manufacturer, to procure and deliver those warranted replacement parts and, if the vehicle is brought directly
to our service center, perform associated repairs. Procurement of replacement parts is subject to availability from the
manufacturer. Transportation/Shipping of any vehicle to and/or from our service center shall be the sole responsibility of the
owner. Any costs of third party labor or any additional parts, tools or procedures required to replace a defective part is
excluded.
All other obligations or liabilities, including incidental or consequential damages or contingent liabilities arising out of the
failure of any parts to operate properly, are excluded, including but not limited to any damages resulting from loss of use,
inconvenience, loss of time, commercial loss, or any other type of damages or expenses, general or specific, foreseen or
unforeseen, unless applicable state law provides otherwise (ie., but not limited to items such as rental car, gasoline charges,
loss of income, towing charges, telephone calls, property damage, or legal fees).
DISCLAIMERS
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other express warranties and representations. Bi-state Motors & Sports makes no
representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, with respect to vehicles whether as to merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose or any other matter. No one is authorized to make further or additional warranties on behalf of Bi-state
Motors & Sports.
All implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for intended use are limited to the warranty period stated, unless any
applicable state law provides otherwise.
REQUIRED WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
Within five (5) days of discovering a defect with your vehicle, you must either notify us and make arrangements to bring the
vehicle in for inspection, or submit a request to the Parts and Service Department with a detailed description of the defect.
We will acknowledge such receipt of claim as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) business days after the creation of the
we receive the request. If you are not bringing in the vehicle, in order to help our technicians with identification, and speed up
the processing of your claim, it would be helpful if you would attach to your request photos of all four sides of your vehicle and
close up photos from multiple angles of the defective part(s).
All returns must be authorized by Bi-state Motors & Sports. Bi-state Motors & Sports will not accept any unauthorized returns.
If the vehicle is not brought in, any defective part must be returned by prepaid shipping (no CODs accepted) within thirty (30)
days from date of return authorization for inspection and approval, in order to qualify the claimant for replacement under this
limited warranty. The purchaser is responsible for paying all associated shipping costs for returning defective parts to Bi-state
Motors & Sports. Any warranted replacement parts will be shipped to the purchaser at no additional cost.
Additional Instructions for Engine Returns
· Owner must supply adequate documentation of general engine best practices and maintenance including oil changes,
fuel filter changes, air filter changes, and spark plug replacements.
· Owner must supply documentation from a certified mechanic with a valid engine diagnostic showing a faulty engine.
· Bi-state Motors & Sports will additionally run diagnostics on the returned engine to deem if the engine is at fault.
Please note that replacement parts procurement is subject to availability from the manufacturer. Bi-state Motors & Sports does
not manufacture parts.
WARNING
For your safety and the safety of all riders of your vehicle, Bi-state Motors & Sports recommends that any assembly or
maintenance on your vehicle be performed by a certified mechanic. This will ensure that any unforeseen issues that arise will
be adequately addressed by a trained professional. Possible issues that could arise include, but are not limited to, electrical
connections that have become disconnected, vacuum or fuel hose(s) that have become dislodged, and/or loose nuts and bolts
that may need to be tightened. While these issues are usually simple for a mechanic to fix, they can be extremely difficult to
troubleshoot for someone lacking proper training.

during normal business hours.
